Blyth Lifeboat Station is operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and currently operates an IB1 (D Class) lifeboat “D-606 Jennie B” from the Station.
In 2007 our IB1 lifeboat was launched on service 22 times, 11 people were rescued and £31,800 worth of craft were recovered.
All of this is accomplished by a volunteer crew with all equipment and running costs paid for through voluntary donations and contributions.
